The player controls a paddle at the bottom of the screen and launches a ball to smash a wall of coloured bricks. The twist is that the ball's colour matters: it starts white, and when it touches the paddle, it takes on the colour of whichever section of the paddle it hits. Only bricks of the same colour as the ball can be destroyed. Each level presents a layout of bricks in several colours, and the paddle is divided into matching coloured zones, so the player must bounce the ball off the correct part of the paddle before it reaches the brick wall.

The challenge lies in timing and positioning. As the ball speeds up, the player must quickly adjust the paddle's position to change the ball's colour while keeping it in play. Missing the ball costs a life, and the game ends when all lives are lost. Clearing all bricks advances to a new, more complex arrangement.

Tips to win

• Plan which colour to destroy first and position the paddle so the ball hits that section.
• Keep the paddle angled so the ball bounces towards bricks of the colour you need, not just straight up.
• Watch the ball's colour indicator and adjust before it reaches the brick wall.
