BlockBlast
About BlockBlast
BlockBlast strips the block-clearing genre to its skeleton: a grid, three pieces per round, rows and columns vanish when filled, and a score that climbs until the board chokes. No power-ups, no currencies, no mercy — which is precisely its appeal.
Its portrait layout makes it a natural phone game, but the simplicity is deceptive: because you must place all three pieces before receiving the next trio, one greedy placement can strand you with two unplaceable shapes. Every great run is really a chain of small acts of restraint.
Tips to win
- Place the most awkward of the three shapes first, while you still have room to choose
- Build toward double clears (row + column at once) — the combo bonus compounds fast
- Never let two separate holes form on opposite sides of the board; consolidate your mess
