DMCA & Content Removal
CKGamez publishes two kinds of games: the ones we build ourselves, and games licensed through official distribution partners and shown in an embedded frame served from the partner's own domain. If you believe anything here infringes your copyright, tell us and we will act.
Sending a notice
Write to admin@ckgamez.net with “DMCA” in the subject, or use the contact form. A complete notice includes:
- The exact URL of every page you are reporting
- Identification of the copyrighted work, or a representative list where several are involved
- Your name, organisation, postal address, email address and telephone number
- A statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent, or the law
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorised to act on their behalf
- Your physical or electronic signature
What we do
Complete notices are acted on within 72 hours: the page is unpublished or the game disabled while we verify, and where the game came from a distribution partner we pass the notice to them. We will tell you what we did, and we notify whoever supplied the content so they can respond.
Counter-notices
If your content was removed and you believe that was a mistake or a misidentification, send a counter-notice to the same address with the material identified, the URL it appeared at, your contact details, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe it was removed in error, and your consent to the jurisdiction of the courts where you live. We forward it to the original complainant, and unless they tell us they have started legal proceedings we may restore the content in 10 to 14 business days.
Repeat infringers
Accounts and supply partners that repeatedly infringe are terminated. We also remove games proactively when a partner tells us a licence has lapsed — a licensed catalogue is only worth having if it stays clean.
Notices sent in bad faith carry liability under 17 U.S.C. §512(f). If you are unsure whether the use you are reporting is infringing, take advice before sending one.
