Block vs Block II
About Block vs Block II
Block vs Block II is a competitive block puzzle game where two players face off, each on their own board. You control falling blocks, moving and rotating them to form complete horizontal lines. When a line is completed, it clears, scoring points and sending garbage blocks to your opponent's board, raising their stack. The goal is to outlast your opponent by keeping your board from overflowing.
The pace increases as the game progresses, with blocks falling faster and garbage from your opponent arriving in unpredictable patterns. The core tension lies in deciding whether to build for a big combo that sends a large attack or to clear lines quickly to stay safe. A well-timed double or triple line clear can turn the match, but leaving a hole in your stack can be fatal when garbage blocks start piling up.
Tips to win
- Keep your stack as flat as possible; uneven stacks create holes that are hard to fill when garbage arrives.
- Aim for multi-line clears, as they send more garbage to your opponent than single lines.
- When receiving a lot of garbage, focus on clearing the incoming blocks rather than building for a combo.
