About Block Blaster

In Block Blaster, you place polyomino shapes onto a square grid. Each turn presents a set of pieces; drag them onto the board. When a full horizontal row or vertical column is filled with blocks, it clears and you score points. The game continues until the board fills to the point that no remaining piece can fit.

The puzzle lies in efficient packing. Early pieces are simple, but as you clear lines the available shapes grow more awkward, and the board fills faster than you can clear it. Poor placement blocks future moves. The challenge is to keep open lanes while clearing lines, balancing immediate score against long-term board health.

Tips to win

• Focus on keeping the board flat; tall spikes limit where new pieces fit.
• Prioritise clearing multiple lines at once with a single placement when possible.
• Use the smallest piece to fill gaps, but avoid scattering blocks randomly.
