Nest Quest
About Nest Quest
In Nest Quest, you slide rectangular blocks around a grid to clear a path for a lost bird to reach its nest. Each level places the bird, the nest, and a set of blocks of varying sizes and orientations. Blocks can only move along their long axis, and they stop when they hit another block or the edge of the board. The bird cannot move until the route is completely clear, so you must rearrange the blocks to create an open corridor from the bird's starting position to the nest.
The puzzles grow steadily more complex, introducing more blocks and tighter boards that force you to plan several moves ahead. The real challenge comes from the limited space: a single careless slide can block the path you just opened or trap the bird in a corner. The calm visuals and gentle animations make retrying a level feel more like a quiet puzzle session than a frustrating setback.
Tips to win
- Move large blocks out of the main corridor first; they are harder to reposition later.
- Look for a path from the nest backwards to the bird, then work out which blocks must move.
- If stuck, undo a few moves and try sliding a different block first — often the order of moves matters more than the direction.
