About Monster Go

Monster Go presents a grid filled with cube-shaped monsters in various colours. Players draw lines between two identical monsters, connecting them with a continuous path that travels along the grid lines. Each connection fills the path, and the goal is to connect every pair while covering the entire board without any lines crossing.

The challenge emerges as boards grow larger and more monsters occupy the grid. Early levels introduce the basic rule, but later ones require foresight: a careless early connection can block later pairs, forcing a restart. Earning three stars depends on completing each board efficiently, with minimal wasted moves. The increasing density of obstacles and limited space force players to plan each line as part of a larger solution.

Tips to win

  • Start with pairs along the board edges, where lines have fewer routing options and often act as boundaries.
  • Before connecting, check that the path leaves enough space for other pairs; avoid cutting the grid into isolated sections.
  • If a pair can be connected in multiple ways, choose the route that keeps the largest open area for remaining monsters.
