About Liquid Color Sort

Liquid Color Sort is a logic puzzle in which you pour coloured liquids between test tubes. Each tube holds a fixed amount (usually four units). You select a tube, then select another to pour the top liquid from the first into the second. A pour is allowed only if the receiving tube has enough space and its top liquid is the same colour as the one being poured (or the tube is empty). The goal is to sort the liquids so each tube contains a single colour.

The challenge comes from limited empty tubes and the need to uncover lower colours. As levels progress, more colours and tubes appear, and you must plan several moves ahead, using empty tubes as temporary storage without blocking access to other colours. A common mistake is filling an empty tube with a colour that traps another, forcing you to restart. Careful sequencing is key.

Tips to win

• Look for moves that expose a needed colour without mixing unlike colours unnecessarily.
• Keep at least one empty tube available when possible; it gives flexibility for temporary storage.
• Try to sort one colour completely before moving to the next, but be ready to switch if a better opening appears.
