Gem Mahjong is a tile-matching puzzle played on a stacked board of gem tiles. You click any free tile (one with no tile covering part of it) to move it to a holding slot. When two tiles in your slots show the same gem, they vanish. If all your slots fill with unmatched tiles, or the timer reaches zero, the level fails. The board shrinks as you clear pairs, exposing deeper layers. The tension comes from managing limited slots: taking tiles you can't match immediately risks clogging your hand, but waiting may leave you with no free pairs. Four power-ups—Magnet, Sweep, Shuffle, and Flip—offer temporary relief when the stack turns against you. Clearing all tiles before time expires wins the level.

Tips to win

• Keep at least one slot open to avoid being forced into a non-matching pair.
• Focus on tiles that block several others; removing them early gives more options.
• Use Shuffle when no pairs are visible, and save Flip for when a specific tile is buried too deep.
