The challenge comes from careful observation: a loose floorboard, a symbol hidden in a painting, or a tool that fits a specific lock. You must track what you have seen across rooms, because a clue in one room may be needed in another. Some puzzles require sequencing, pattern recognition, or lateral thinking, and multiple steps may be needed before a door opens. Difficulty escalates as rooms introduce more complex mechanisms and less obvious connections between objects.

Tips to win

• Search each room thoroughly: check behind furniture, under rugs, and inside containers, as many objects only appear after a closer look.
• Keep a mental map of locked doors and unsolved mechanisms; if you are stuck, revisit earlier rooms with new items in mind.
• Combine inventory items that seem related, such as a handle and a blade, to form a tool that fits a specific puzzle.
