Tech Match is a match-3 puzzle where the tiles are computer components: CPUs, keyboards, mice, monitors, and more. The core rule is simple: swap two adjacent tiles to make a line of three or more identical icons, which then disappear and add points to your score. The goal of each level is to reach a target score. There is no move limit; instead, a timer constantly counts down, and you must achieve the score before time runs out. That is the only pressure, but it is relentless.
The real challenge is efficiency under the clock. Because time is the only limited resource, every swap must count. You need to scan the board quickly for potential matches, anticipate how new tiles will fall after a clear, and avoid wasting seconds on dead ends. As levels progress, the score targets increase, demanding faster play and more strategic matching. The tech theme gives the game a distinctive look, but the mechanics stay true to classic timed match-3.
Tips to win
- Prioritize matches of four or five icons when possible; they add significantly more points per second than simple three-matches.
- Look for potential cascades: match tiles lower on the board so falling replacements can create additional matches without extra time.
- If you cannot spot a match within a second or two, swap any two adjacent tiles that might plausibly line up; a quick failed swap still costs less time than prolonged searching.
