About Break the Candy
You control a launcher at the bottom of the screen, aiming and firing candy projectiles upward into a field of candies. Each shot sends one candy in a straight line; when it hits a candy of the same color, and the cluster reaches three or more, those candies pop and disappear. Any candies left hanging without support also fall, clearing additional space and adding to your score. The goal is to clear enough of the board to progress before you run out of shots.
The strategy comes from limited ammunition. Every level gives you a fixed number of shots, so each one must count. Creating chain reactions is key: a well-placed shot can pop a group, drop a larger cluster, and cascade into further matches. The board layouts become more intricate, with tighter spaces and harder-to-reach candies, forcing you to line up bounce shots off the walls and plan several moves ahead.
Tips to win
- Look for shots that will cause a chain reaction, clearing more candies with one bullet.
- Use the side walls to bounce your shot into areas you cannot hit directly.
- Prioritize removing candies that are supporting large hanging clusters, as dropping them saves shots.
