About Solitaire Quest

Solitaire Quest is a classic Klondike solitaire game. The player deals a tableau of seven columns with an increasing number of cards, only the top card face up. The goal is to move all cards to four foundation piles, building each suit from Ace to King. Cards on the tableau are arranged in descending order and alternating colors.

The challenge lies in managing limited information and moves. Face-down cards block progress, and moving cards between columns to uncover them must be balanced against building sequences and using the stock pile wisely. The game requires planning ahead, as a single careless move can strand needed cards. Difficulty escalates as the player works through the stock multiple times, and clearing the board requires both patience and foresight.

Tips to win

  • Uncover face-down cards as soon as possible; they hide options and are key to progress.
  • Avoid moving cards to foundations too early unless necessary, as they can still be used for building descending sequences on the tableau.
  • Reserve empty columns for Kings, as only a King or a sequence starting with a King can be placed there.
