Slime Buffet is a colour-matching puzzle where a group of hungry slimes must clear a grid of candy tiles. Each turn, choose one of the colours shown at the front of the queue to send a slime to consume all connected candies of that colour, removing them from the board and opening up paths through the mosaic. The four-slot active buffer lets you plan a few moves ahead: you can see the next four colours in the queue and decide which one to use now and which to hold for later. The goal is to clear every candy before the queue of colours runs out or the board becomes impassable. The puzzle's difficulty comes from choosing which colour to spend when multiple options are available. Eating a large group of candies clears more of the board and builds combo bonuses, yet sometimes you need to settle for a smaller group to open a path for future slimes. Levels introduce longer and more unpredictable colour queues, forcing careful management of your limited actions.
Tips to win
- Look for colour groups that block access to isolated areas; removing them early can open up many other moves.
- Keep an eye on the upcoming queue colours and try to save high-impact colours for when they connect the largest group.
- Don't always chase the biggest group if a smaller one will unlock a critical path.
