In Paint or Seek, each round assigns players to teams of Hiders and Seekers. Hiders control a customizable avatar and must blend into the environment by painting themselves with colors and patterns that match nearby surfaces. They then choose a spot and remain still. Seekers patrol the map, looking for hidden players whose camouflage is imperfect. The round ends when all hiders are found or the timer expires. The challenge comes from the need to match not just color but also texture and lighting. Hiders must remain motionless, because any movement breaks the illusion. Seekers learn to scan for irregularities—a pixel that doesn't align, a shadow that falls wrong. A single mistake ends a hider's round, while a seeker who overlooks a well-hidden player hands the opposing team a win.

Tips to win

• As a Hider, pick a spot with a simple background so your custom paint has fewer details to match incorrectly
• Test your camouflage from multiple angles before settling in; what looks perfect from the front may be obvious from the side
• As a Seeker, pay attention to subtle movement and areas where the texture pattern breaks; hiders often overlook the edges of their painted zones
