About Colour Link

A seven-by-seven board of coloured tokens. Drag through three or more of one colour, each touching the last — diagonals count — and let go: the linked tokens clear, the ones above drop, and new tokens fall in from the top. Every colour carries its own small mark as well, so the board reads without telling colours apart.

Each level sets goals: so many red, so many blue, and on later levels every crate broken — all within a fixed number of moves. A crate can't be linked; it breaks when a token beside it is. Link seven or more and a burst is left where the link ended; link the burst later and it clears the whole square around it, setting off any other burst it catches.

Every level's move limit comes from playing it: a steady player was run through each one and the limit allows a few moves more than it needed, so every level can be won. Finish with moves to spare for stars and a bonus. The daily level is the same for everyone and ranked by score; the numbered levels open one at a time.

Tips to win

• Work on the colours the goals ask for; others only earn points
• Link along the bottom to bring the most new tokens down
• Save a burst for a crowded corner or a cluster of crates
• Crates break from the side, not the corner — link right past them
