About Museum Night Shift

In Museum Night Shift, you control a security guard on a hex-grid museum floor. Each turn you move one hex, then the thief moves one hex toward the emerald or an exit. Catch the thief by moving onto his hex, or stop him by blocking routes and closing gates. Gates open or close via switches, changing the floor plan each turn.

The challenge is anticipating the thief's path and using gates to funnel him into a capture. Coins earned from efficient captures unlock exhibit entries; the 50 nights span five wings with increasing complexity. No timer means you can plan several moves ahead, but a single misstep can let the thief escape. New Game+ offers double coins for finished players.

Tips to win

• Close gates that block the thief's shortest route to force him into a longer path you can cut off.
• Use the thief's predictable movement: he always heads for the emerald or exit, so position yourself on his route.
• On levels with multiple switches, toggle gates before moving to create a dead end.
