Math Squares is a memory matching game where you flip over cards to pair a number with its square. Each card on the grid is face down. When you flip two cards, you see one of two things: a base number, or its square representation. For smaller numbers, the square is shown as a computed value, like 9 for 3, so you must recall the result from memory. For larger numbers, the square appears as a multiplication expression, like 13×13, so you simply match the base number to the repeated factor. The core challenge is remembering card positions while quickly recognizing correct pairs. As the grid expands, more cards appear, and you must clear them all before running out of moves or time. The game tests both your visual memory and your comfort with square numbers, with the difficulty scaling as the numbers grow and the board becomes more crowded.

Tips to win

• Focus on memorizing the locations of cards that show large squares, since they are easier to pair once you find the base number.
• For small squares, quickly compute or recall the value before flipping, so you waste fewer turns on mismatches.
• If you see a multiplication expression like 12×12, look immediately for the card showing 12, as that is the only possible match.
