Jigsaw Collections presents a series of digital jigsaw puzzles. You choose an image from a set of varied pictures, and the game slices it into interlocking pieces that are scattered in a tray or pile beside an empty board. Your goal is to drag each piece into place on the board to reconstruct the original image. When a piece is positioned correctly, it locks into position; otherwise it remains free for further adjustment. A zoom feature lets you inspect fine details, which is essential for distinguishing similar textures or colours.

The challenge lies in managing many pieces at once and working out spatial relationships. Early puzzles may have fewer pieces and simpler images, but later ones increase in piece count and visual complexity. The real test is patience and organisation: deciding whether to sort pieces by colour, hunt for edges first, or work on a particular area of the image. Runs end only when you choose to stop or fail to complete a puzzle, but the sense of progression comes from finishing each picture cleanly.

• Group pieces by dominant colour or pattern before placing them, which reduces search time.
