Grass Flip
About Grass Flip
Grass Flip is a tile-flipping puzzle where you drag a character across a grid of platforms, each showing either grass or dirt. When you move from one tile to an adjacent tile, the tile you leave flips to its opposite side. The tile you are currently standing on cannot flip. Your goal is to flip every platform so that all tiles show the same side, usually grass.
The challenge lies in planning a route that flips each tile the correct number of times. A path that revisits tiles may be necessary, but every move flips a tile you must later account for. Later levels introduce more complex starting patterns, forcing you to think several steps ahead. One wrong move can strand you with a board that cannot be solved without backtracking, so careful observation and route planning are essential.
Tips to win
- Work backwards from the goal: decide which tiles need an odd number of flips and which need an even number.
- Revisit tiles deliberately when you need an extra flip, but avoid creating new mismatches.
- If you get stuck, retrace your steps to undo recent flips and try a different route.
