About Draw the RailBall Physics
You draw rails and pipes by dragging across the screen. When you finish a line, the ball rolls along it, subject to gravity and momentum. Springs launch the ball, accelerators increase its speed, and bumpers redirect it. The goal is to guide the ball to the marked finish.
Each level provides a puzzle where the correct path is not obvious. You must account for the ball's weight: steep drops build speed but can cause it to overshoot, while flat sections may leave it stuck. The challenge is to engineer a continuous track that carries the ball through the level's obstacles. Since there is no time limit, you can erase and redraw freely, testing small adjustments until the physics work. It rewards careful planning and a willingness to experiment.
Tips to win
- Before drawing, visualize the ball's trajectory; use gentle slopes for controlled speed.
- Place a spring or accelerator at the start of an uphill section to maintain momentum.
- If the ball stalls, add a small downward ramp or a bumper to redirect its path.
