Daruma Matching
About Daruma Matching
A grid of face-down tiles hides Daruma dolls, each with a distinct colour or pattern. Click or tap two tiles to flip them over. If the dolls match, they remain face-up and you score points; if they do not match, they turn back over after a brief moment. The objective is to clear the board by matching every pair before the timer expires or your allowed number of moves runs out.
The challenge lies in remembering where each doll sits as the grid grows. Early rounds use a small board with few pairs, letting you learn the rhythm, but later levels introduce more tiles, tighter time limits, and dolls that differ only in subtle details. Each wrong flip wastes precious seconds and forces you to rebuild your mental map of the board. A clean run requires both a good memory and a sensible order of exploration—random clicking rarely gets far.
Tips to win
- Flip new tiles near the first tile of a potential pair you remember, rather than picking at random.
- When you find a match, try to remember the location of any other tiles you accidentally revealed on the way.
- Start by clearing easy pairs on the edges or corners, as they are easier to remember.
