BattleBox is a grid-based memory game where the player turns over face-down tiles to reveal what lies beneath. Some tiles contain treasure, which adds to the player's score. Others hide monsters that reduce health, and strawberries restore health lost to monster attacks. The player must recall which positions are safe and which are dangerous as they reveal the board, aiming to collect as much treasure as possible while staying alive.

The challenge comes from balancing exploration with caution. Players can avoid monsters by remembering where they are after a first encounter, but they still need to uncover new tiles to find treasure and strawberries. As the game progresses, the grid may grow larger or contain more monsters, increasing the demand on memory and planning. One wrong flip can end a run if health is low, so each move requires weighing the risk of revealing an unknown tile against the potential reward.

Tips to win

• Reveal tiles systematically, such as in rows or columns, to better remember where you have already looked.
• If your health is low, focus on finding strawberries before opening new tiles in unexplored areas.
• Once you reveal a monster, remember its exact position and avoid clicking that tile again unless absolutely necessary.
