GuessTheTiles is a memory game in which you uncover pairs of matching tiles hidden on a grid. Each tile is face-down, showing only a uniform back. You select one tile to reveal its symbol, then a second; if the two symbols match, the pair stays visible. If they differ, both tiles flip back over. The goal is to match every pair on the board. The core challenge is remembering where previously seen symbols are located, so you can make matches efficiently. As the grid grows larger and contains more distinct symbols, the number of positions to track increases, making each wrong flip more costly in terms of time and moves. Successful play depends on building a mental map of the board and recalling it under pressure.

Tips to win

• Flip tiles in a consistent pattern, such as left-to-right and top-to-bottom, to avoid missing any.
• When you reveal a tile, note its position and symbol before flipping the next, so you can return to it later.
• If you uncover one tile of a pair you have seen before, try to recall where its partner was rather than guessing randomly.
