About Color Loom Puzzle
Color Loom Puzzle places you in front of several columns where colored threads slide downward. Each thread must be completed by matching it with a spool of the same color. You have a few spool slots, and only a spool sitting in a slot can fill an arriving thread. Swap spools in and out of these slots to have the right color ready when each thread reaches the bottom.
The core challenge is managing the limited slots while tracking upcoming threads across all columns. You must constantly look ahead and decide which colors to keep, swap, or release. A wrong choice can leave a thread unmatched and block the column, forcing a restart. Later levels add more colors and faster threads, pushing your planning and pattern-recognition skills.
Tips to win
- Look at the next few threads in each column before deciding your spool setup; prioritize colors that appear soonest.
- Keep a mix of spool colors in your slots rather than duplicates of one color, unless you know a single color will be needed repeatedly.
- If a thread is almost at the bottom, don't hesitate to swap out an unused spool to match it, even if it means losing that color temporarily.
