ANT COLONY
About ANT COLONY
The player sees a pixel picture composed of coloured blocks. By clicking or tapping on a colour swatch from the palette, you assign that colour to one of five slots. Ants then automatically march out and collect every block of that colour, carrying them off. The goal is to clear the whole picture before all slots become occupied with unfinished tasks.
The challenge emerges as pictures grow larger and colour counts increase. With only five slots, choosing which colours to activate becomes critical: committing to a colour that is scattered and numerous can block slots for a long time, preventing you from addressing other colours. Larger murals and tighter colour constraints later make planning ahead essential. Power-ups like Speed x3, Pick Any, and Shuffle offer ways to recover, and extra slots can ease the pressure. It's a calm but cerebral puzzle about sequencing.
Tips to win
- Prioritise colours with few blocks so they finish quickly and free up slots.
- Keep at least one slot open for a fast-clearing colour to avoid being locked out.
- Use Speed x3 on the colour with the most blocks to clear it sooner.
