Street Driver
About Street Driver
You control two cars on a divided highway, each restricted to its own set of three lanes. The cars move forward automatically; your only input is switching each car between its lanes. The goal is to collect stars and avoid roadblocks that appear in the lanes ahead. Hitting a roadblock ends the run immediately. Stars are collected by being in the same lane as the car when it passes them.
The challenge is managing two independent lane-change decisions at once. Each car faces its own sequence of obstacles and stars, often requiring opposite lanes at the same moment. As the run progresses, the cars speed up, leaving less time to react. High scores reward consistent collection and smooth avoidance. The game ends when either car crashes, so a single mistake forfeits the run.
Tips to win
- Prioritize avoiding roadblocks over collecting stars; a missed star costs points, a crash ends the run.
- Learn to quickly alternate attention between the two lanes; glance at the nearer obstacles first.
- On higher speeds, pre-position each car in the center lane when no immediate threat is visible.
