Control a shadow samurai ninja through mystical side-scrolling levels. Move left and right, jump across platforms, and slash enemies with a sword while avoiding traps such as spikes and pits. Defeat enemies and collect items to unlock powerful upgrades that improve abilities.

The challenge escalates as progress is made. Enemies attack in faster patterns, traps activate with less warning, and platforming gaps become wider, forcing precise chaining of jumps. Mistimed attacks leave the ninja open to counter-hits, and falling into a pit or onto spikes costs health. The run ends when health is depleted, so learning the layout and enemy placement is key. The constant decision is whether to engage enemies for upgrade points or bypass them to preserve health, as some upgrades require sacrificing safe positioning.

Tips to win

• Time attacks to land just before enemies enter attack range; a whiffed slash leaves the ninja vulnerable.
• Watch for trap patterns—spikes often retract on a cycle; jump only when they are down.
• Collect upgrade items early, even if it means taking a longer route, because later levels punish weak attacks.
