The challenge comes from precise platforming over hazards and managing enemy encounters. Strategic checkpoints let you respawn nearby after death, but you lose any crystals collected since the last checkpoint. Difficulty ramps up as new enemy types and more complex trap layouts appear, requiring quick reflexes, careful shooting, and route planning.
