The challenge is that clients often have conflicting wants: a small room might need both a large sofa and a dining table, or a client may insist on a colour that clashes with the available walls. You must choose which items to include and where to place them so the room doesn't feel cramped or messy. As the game progresses, clients become pickier and rooms get bigger, giving you more to manage.

Tips to win

• Always read the client's brief first; paying attention to their preferred colours and furniture types prevents wasted effort.
• Start with the largest pieces (bed, sofa, table) and position them before adding smaller decorations, so you don't run out of space.
• If a room feels crowded, remove one or two items—clients dislike clutter as much as missing essentials.
