Monster Live is a top-down survival shooter where you control a lone survivor (or a team in co-op) against endless waves of undead. You move around the arena, aim and fire your weapon, and use abilities to thin the horde. Each cleared wave grants skill points you spend between levels to upgrade damage, speed, health, or unlock new attacks. The goal is simple: survive as long as possible while the undead grow faster and more numerous.
The challenge comes from managing space and cooldowns. Enemies approach from all sides, so standing still means death; you must constantly reposition while keeping your crosshair on threats. In co-op, coordination becomes vital—players can revive each other or combine abilities to clear large groups. Escalating difficulty forces smart upgrade choices early, because a poorly built character gets overwhelmed by later waves. The tension between grabbing loot, rescuing teammates, and holding ground makes each run feel different.
Tips to win
- Keep moving in a circular pattern to group enemies together, then use area damage abilities to clear them efficiently.
- Prioritize upgrading damage and movement speed early; survivability can come later once you have enough firepower to thin crowds.
- In co-op, stick close to your partner but avoid overlapping lines of fire; one player can kite enemies while the other revives or deals damage.
