About Epic Duck

You control a duck that must reach the exit door on each single-screen level, but the door only opens after you collect every key scattered around the stage. Movement is tile-based: the duck slides in the direction you press until it hits a wall or an obstacle, so each input commits you to a full slide. This sliding mechanic turns simple navigation into a planning puzzle, as you must anticipate where the duck will stop and whether that position allows you to reach the next key or the door. Some levels include hazards like spikes or moving enemies that patrol fixed paths, and touching them sends you back to the start of the level. The game does not use lives or a timer, so you can retry as often as needed. The challenge comes from finding the correct sequence of slides to collect all keys and reach the exit without getting hit. Later stages introduce locked doors that require a specific key, forcing you to plan an efficient route and avoid backtracking into danger. The clean, colourful art keeps the focus on the puzzle, and the difficulty curve is steady without becoming punishing.

Tips to win

  • Before moving, trace the full slide path mentally: the duck will not stop until it hits something solid, so check where you will end up.
  • Keys can often be collected in multiple orders; look for a route that avoids sliding through enemy patrol areas or into dead ends.
  • If you are stuck, try reversing your thinking: work backwards from the exit door to see which slides lead there, then connect that to your starting position.
