About Dark World

You control a hero in a side-scrolling platformer, moving through thirty levels filled with enemies, hazards, and hidden treasures. Your goal is to reach the end of each level while defeating foes with a sword and a bow. The sword allows close-range attacks, while arrows can be fired at distance, letting you choose how to approach each threat. Falling into pits or touching enemies costs health, so careful movement and timing are essential.

The challenge comes from balancing the two weapons: the sword is faster but puts you in danger, while arrows are safer but limited. Enemies have different movement patterns and attack styles, forcing you to observe and adapt. Hidden paths and treasure rooms reward exploration, but they often involve extra risk. As levels progress, the platforming becomes more demanding, with moving platforms, spike traps, and more aggressive enemy placements that punish careless play.

Tips to win

• Use arrows to thin out enemies from a safe distance, then switch to sword for close combat
• Watch enemy movement patterns before engaging; many have predictable attacks you can punish
• Explore off the main path for treasure rooms, but be prepared for additional hazards
