Boomstone is what happens when a match puzzle borrows a roguelike's wardrobe. Eight gems sit on the mine wall, each with a color and a purity number; line up matching colors into a vein and detonate it — purer veins, bigger booms, and a score that snowballs from double digits into the tens of thousands across a run.

Between the mine's eight layers you visit a supply station and pick gear: color bonuses, doubled blasts, a supercharged final shot. The gear pool reshuffles every run, and each layer ends with a boss anomaly — rock that seals a color, gas that eats a blast — that forces you to replan on the spot. A full run takes about twenty minutes and no two play alike.

Tips to win

• Pick one main color early and stack gear on it — spread bonuses win nothing
• Read the boss preview before spending blasts; some anomalies punish specific colors
• A smaller vein that sets up a purer next vein usually beats cashing out now
