About Color Mosaic

In Color Mosaic, the player drags multicolored block pieces onto a square grid. Each piece contains several colored cells. Placing a piece so that its colored cells connect with adjacent cells of the same color causes that entire connected group to disappear from the grid and score points. Larger groups yield proportionally more points. The round continues as long as at least one of the available pieces can still fit somewhere on the board.

Because several pieces are offered at once, the player must choose which piece to place and where, balancing immediate clears against keeping the board open for larger pieces later. As the grid fills, earlier placements restrict future moves, so planning ahead is essential. There is no timer, allowing full consideration of each move.

Tips to win

• Before placing, examine all available pieces and consider which one leaves the most open space for future placements.
• Aim to clear large same-color groups when possible, but avoid stranding single cells that cannot connect to anything later.
• Reserve at least one region of the board for large pieces; filling small gaps early may block you later.
