Boxing Stars is an arcade boxing game where you control a fighter from behind the ropes. Each match is a test of timing: you throw punches to wear down your opponent's health, dodge incoming blows to avoid damage, and block when you can't move out of the way. Landing clean hits fills a knockout meter; fill it and you can end the fight early. The goal is to win matches and climb from underground bouts to championship fights.

The core decision is when to commit. Throwing a punch leaves you open for a counter, so you must read your opponent's patterns and choose between aggression and patience. Dodging drains stamina, and blocking only reduces damage rather than eliminating it, so no defense is free. As you progress, opponents get faster, hit harder, and mix up their attacks, forcing you to adapt your strategy from round to round.

Tips to win

• Wait for your opponent to throw a combination, then counter with a hook after their third punch.
• Manage stamina: don't spam dodges; use blocking for light jabs and save dodges for heavy swings.
• Learn each opponent's tell before their power punch so you can dodge early and punish.
