Hailstones of various colours fall from the top of the screen, and a single colour converter sits at the bottom. Move the converter beneath a falling hailstone and set its colour to match before the hail lands. A correct match transforms the hail into a snowflake and adds to your score; a mismatch or a missed hail ends the run immediately. The converter can be shifted left and right, and its colour can be changed at any time, but only one colour can be active at once.

The challenge comes from managing multiple hailstones with different colours falling at different speeds. As your score climbs, the hail falls faster and colours change more frequently, forcing quick decisions about which hail to catch next. Reacting to the wrong hail or hesitating on a colour switch is how most runs end. The simple rule hides a demanding test of pattern recognition and hand-eye coordination.

• Prioritise hailstones that are closest to the bottom, as they leave the least time to react.
• Keep an eye on the next few hailstones' colours and plan your converter colour changes ahead.
