Takeover challenges you to lead a medieval clan to dominance by expanding territory and outlasting rival factions. Select territories with a click, then direct squads to capture neutral lands or attack enemies. Manage gold and other resources to recruit and maintain forces, and use Edicts to gain temporary advantages in battle or economy. The game runs in real time, so decisions must be quick but deliberate. As your domain grows, you'll face tougher opposition, including undead and monstrous incursions that test your tactical planning. The core tension lies in balancing expansion with defense: spreading too thin leaves territories vulnerable to counterattack, while turtling lets rivals grow unchecked. Each Edict offers a powerful but limited boost, so timing their use can swing a close battle. Victory requires both strategic foresight and quick reaction.
