About Sweet Snip

A sweet hangs on ropes above a hungry chick in its nest. Swipe across a rope to cut it: the sweet swings on the ropes that are left, and falls when the last one goes. Time the cuts so it drops into the chick's open beak — and sweeps through the three stars on the way.

Later levels bring more to work with and around. A hoop throws a fresh rope round the sweet as it passes, so a fall can become a swing. A bubble catches it and floats it upward until you tap the bubble. Spikes end the attempt. Every level is a small real-time physics puzzle: which rope first, and exactly when.

Each level was built from a plan that wins all three stars, and checked by trying every cut at every moment to make sure a slightly early or late cut still works. The daily level is the same for everyone and ranked by stars, then by the time spent over every try; the numbered levels open one at a time, with a hint when you're stuck.

Tips to win

• Watch a swing or two before cutting: the moment matters more than the rope
• Cut at the bottom of a swing to fling the sweet sideways
• A hoop's new rope is short: let it catch the sweet low
