You control a cat who has fallen through a portal into another dimension. Each level is a side-scrolling gauntlet of hazards: spikes, moving platforms, and other dangers that reset you to the start upon contact. The goal is to reach the portal at the end of every stage, inching closer to home. The cat moves with simple left-right controls and a jump, but the challenge is in reading the environment and timing your actions precisely. Many obstacles follow patterns that must be learned, and a single mistake means starting over.

What keeps it tense is the risk-reward of every jump. Some platforms are safe but slow; risky shortcuts might save time but demand near-perfect timing. As levels progress, new obstacle types appear and layouts grow more complex, forcing you to plan routes more carefully. The cat never gives up, and neither will you as you chase the next portal.
