You drag one item onto another of the same kind to combine them into a single higher-tier item. Each renovation task asks for specific items; after merging enough of them, you complete the task and earn stars. Stars unlock new rooms, furniture, and decor for your house, giving the merges a visible reward.

The core challenge is board management. Items pile up quickly, and every merge uses space while producing something rarer. You must decide which items to keep low-level for future tasks and which to merge into higher tiers. Tasks gradually require more advanced items, forcing multi-step chains that eat board space. The game becomes a balancing act between immediate needs and long-term planning.

Tips to win

• Resist merging low-level items immediately; waiting to merge larger sets can produce extra items and save board space.
• Focus on items needed for current tasks, and keep a few of each low tier in reserve rather than merging everything upward.
• Use the board edges for items you want to keep but not use yet, keeping the center free for active merging chains.
