About Junkyard Keeper

In Junkyard Keeper, you manage a cluttered scrapyard by merging identical pieces of junk to create more valuable components. Drag two of the same item onto each other to combine them into the next item in the chain—old tires become rubber sheets, scrap metal becomes plates, and so on. Each merge produces a higher-tier item that can be used to construct machines or fulfil requests.

The challenge comes from limited space and increasingly complex recipes. The yard fills with raw materials, and you must decide which items to keep and which to merge away. Clearing debris opens new areas to explore, revealing rarer materials and blueprints. As you progress, the machines you build require many specific components, forcing careful planning and efficient use of every square.

Tips to win

• Keep at least one of each item type on the board; merging all of a type can force you to recreate it from scratch.
• Focus on fulfilling construction orders early to unlock new areas, which provide better resources.
• Avoid filling every cell with high-tier items; leave space for spontaneous drops and merging.
