In Hit Em Up, the player controls a soldier armed with a limited supply of explosive projectiles. Each level presents a group of zombies scattered around a destructible environment. Firing a shot sends a projectile that explodes on impact, damaging zombies and nearby structures. The goal is to eliminate every zombie using the available shots. Explosions can trigger chain reactions, such as collapsing walls or detonating barrels, to take out multiple enemies at once.

The challenge lies in shot conservation and environmental awareness. A wasted shot often means failure, as later levels provide fewer projectiles relative to the number of zombies. Zombie placements become more complex, requiring precise trajectories and clever use of physics to achieve maximum damage. High scores reward efficient clearing with fewer shots and larger chain reactions.

Tips to win

• Look for environmental hazards like explosive barrels or weak walls; one shot can clear many zombies if placed correctly.
• Aim for clusters of zombies or structural weak points rather than individual enemies to conserve ammo.
• Sometimes waiting for zombies to move into a better position before firing can create larger chain reactions.
