About Epic Mine

Epic Mine is a digging puzzle in which you guide a miner through layers of earth toward the planet's core. Each move removes a block of dirt or rock, opening paths and revealing the resources, hazards, and trapped miners hidden beneath. Your goal is to rescue a set number of bearded companions from each depth before escaping upward. The mine responds to every excavation: unstable ground collapses, gas pockets ignite, and cave-ins block your retreat.

The challenge tightens as you descend. Precious ores can be mined and later smelted for upgrades, but every second spent collecting them increases the risk of tremors or flooding. The core decision in each run is whether to chase treasure or push directly toward the next group of trapped workers. Runs end when you are buried, run out of oxygen, or fail to bring a miner to the surface in time.

Tips to win

• Check the map edges first; often a clear path upward is hidden behind a single block.
• Save dynamite for flooded or gas-filled sections rather than using it to speed up normal digging.
• Prioritize rescuing miners over collecting ore early; upgrades only matter if you survive the run.
