About Drop Planets
Drop Planets is a physics-based merging puzzle. You control a planet at the top of the screen, moving it left or right to aim over a container. Click or tap to release the planet, and it falls under gravity, settling among the planets already inside. When two planets of the same size touch, they merge into a single larger planet, earning points and freeing space. The goal is to keep merging and create the most massive planet possible without letting the container overflow.
The challenge comes from managing the stack. Every drop shifts the pile, and careless placements can create lopsided towers that topple or block future merges. As the container fills, the margin for error shrinks, and a single misplaced planet can trigger a cascade that ends the run. Success depends on reading the current layout, predicting how balls will roll, and setting up chain reactions that clear multiple sizes at once.
Tips to win
- Aim for clusters of same-size planets to trigger multi-step merges in one drop.
- Keep the tallest point of the pile low; avoid creating spiky peaks that block access.
- Save large planets for late in the game when space is limited; dropping them early can fill the container fast.
