About Collect the Gift
In Collect the Gift, you guide presents into Santa's bag by manipulating a series of festive contraptions. Each level presents a scene with ropes, slingshots, switches, and other movable parts. Click or tap to cut ropes, aim and release slingshots, and trigger switches to set gifts in motion. The goal is to get every gift into the bag, not just some; all must arrive.
The challenge comes from sequencing. Cutting one rope may drop a gift onto a slingshot, but you must time the launch to avoid obstacles or use switches to open paths. Later levels introduce moving platforms, conveyor belts, and multiple gifts that need to reach the bag together or in sequence. One wrong cut can send a gift tumbling off-screen, forcing a restart of the level. The physics are predictable, but the solutions require careful planning.
Tips to win
- Plan your sequence before acting; cutting one rope can set off chain reactions.
- Use timing: wait for moving parts to be in the right position before launching.
- If a gift misses the bag, reset and try a different order; sometimes you need to delay a cut until another gift is in place.
